Shops with flats above them
Hayes Street is small storefronts with apartments stacked on top, which produces a very particular problem. The shop has one door, the flats share another, and whoever installed the hardware did it at two different times with two different ideas. A tenant upstairs locks the street door behind them and the shop staff cannot get to the bins.
Sorting that out is a keying question, not a hardware question. Everyone gets the access they are supposed to have and nobody gets a key ring with nine keys on it.
Retail hardware
Glass storefront doors, deadlatches, closers that have been adjusted by four different people. A door closer that is set wrong does not just annoy you, it stops the door latching, which means you are locking an unlocked shop every night. Business hardware is here.
Patricia's Green and the blocks around it
Car lockouts and street parking, same as the park streets in the Mission. If you are standing next to the car, tell us the cross street and stay with it.
